Its small blade tapers to a tip and the knife is easy to handle, making it perfect for trimming, slicing, and peeling small produce like herbs and garlic cloves. Wusthof’s Extra Wide Paring Knife has a slightly wider blade than traditional paring knifes. Like a miniature chef’s knife, the extra girth and straight-edged blade are perfect for mincing ingredients and scooping them up to be transferred to a bowl or pan.
